At Categorybrand, we are committed to providing exceptional wardrobe consulting services and ensuring your complete satisfaction. This Return Policy outlines our procedures for cancellations, refunds, and service-related concerns. Please read this policy carefully before booking our services.

1. Nature of Our Services

Categorybrand provides professional wardrobe consulting services, which are intangible services delivered through personal consultations, style guidance, and expert advice. Unlike physical products, our services are provided in real-time and cannot be returned in the traditional sense. However, we maintain a fair and transparent policy regarding cancellations, refunds, and service satisfaction.

Our services include personal style analysis, wardrobe audits, sustainable fashion consulting, shopping assistance, and ongoing style coaching. Each service is customized to meet your individual needs and delivered by experienced fashion consultants.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change and schedules may need to be adjusted. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our consultants who dedicate time to prepare for each session.

Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • 48+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled consultation will receive a full refund of the consultation fee. You may also choose to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time without any penalty.
  • 24-48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before your scheduled consultation will incur a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Less Than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled consultation will incur a 75% cancellation fee. Only 25% of the consultation fee will be refunded.
  • No-Show: If you fail to attend your scheduled consultation without prior notice, the full consultation fee will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.

Consultant-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Categorybrand needs to cancel your consultation due to consultant illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the following options:

  • Full refund of your consultation fee
  • Rescheduling with the same consultant at your earliest convenience
  • Consultation with an alternative consultant at the originally scheduled time
  • Credit toward future services with an additional 10% bonus value

3. Rescheduling Policy

We offer flexible rescheduling options to accommodate your changing schedule:

  • Rescheduling requests made 48 hours or more before your appointment are free of charge
  • You may reschedule your consultation up to two times without penalty
  • Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your appointment may be subject to availability
  • Multiple rescheduling requests may require rebooking with a new consultation fee

4. Refund Process

When a refund is approved according to our cancellation policy, the following process applies:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of cancellation approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for booking
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
  • If you do not receive your refund within the specified timeframe, please contact us immediately

5. Multi-Session Packages and Programs

For clients who purchase multi-session packages or programs, such as our Sustainable Style Program, special terms apply:

  • Package purchases are non-refundable after the first session has been completed
  • Before the first session, packages may be cancelled for a full refund minus a 15% administrative fee
  • Individual sessions within a package follow the standard cancellation policy
  • Unused sessions in a package may be transferred to another person with prior approval
  • Package sessions must be used within the specified validity period, typically 6-12 months from purchase
  • Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Categorybrand

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. While our services are non-refundable after delivery, we are committed to ensuring you receive value from every consultation:

  • If you are not satisfied with your consultation, please contact us within 48 hours
  • We will work with you to understand your concerns and address any issues
  • Depending on the situation, we may offer a complimentary follow-up session
  • We may provide additional resources or guidance to enhance your experience
  • In cases of significant service failure, we may offer a partial refund or credit toward future services

We encourage open communication and feedback to ensure we meet your expectations and deliver exceptional wardrobe consulting services.

7. Virtual Consultation Policy

For virtual consultations conducted via video call, additional considerations apply:

  • Technical difficulties on our end that prevent the consultation will result in a full refund or free rescheduling
  • Technical difficulties on your end do not qualify for a refund, but we will attempt to reschedule when possible
  • You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and appropriate technology
  • We recommend testing your video call setup before the scheduled consultation
  • If technical issues arise during the consultation, we will extend the session time or schedule a follow-up to complete the service

8. Shopping Assistance Services

When our consultants provide shopping assistance, whether in-person or online, the following terms apply:

  • Shopping assistance fees are separate from the cost of any items purchased
  • We are not responsible for the quality, fit, or return policies of items purchased from third-party retailers
  • Returns or exchanges of purchased items must be handled directly with the retailer according to their policies
  • Our recommendations are based on professional expertise, but individual results may vary
  • Shopping assistance fees are non-refundable once the service has been provided

9. Digital Materials and Resources

Some of our services include digital materials such as style guides, lookbooks, or personalized recommendations:

  • Digital materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced
  • Once digital materials have been delivered, they are non-refundable
  • We retain intellectual property rights to all materials provided
  • If you experience technical issues accessing digital materials, we will resend them or provide alternative access

10. Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events:

  • We may need to cancel or postpone consultations with minimal notice
  • Affected clients will be offered rescheduling or full refunds
  • We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative service delivery methods, such as virtual consultations
  • No penalties or fees will be charged for force majeure cancellations

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our services or this Return Policy, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter:

  • Contact us within 7 days of the service delivery to raise any concerns
  • Provide detailed information about your concerns and desired resolution
  • We will respond to your inquiry within 2 business days
  • We will work in good faith to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution
  • If we cannot resolve the matter directly, you may pursue resolution through mediation or applicable consumer protection channels

12. Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Spanish and European Union law. You retain all rights provided by applicable consumer protection legislation, including:

  • The right to receive services that match their description
  • The right to services performed with reasonable care and skill
  • The right to services provided within a reasonable time
  • The right to fair treatment and transparent business practices

For services booked before a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of booking will apply unless the new policy is more favorable to you.
